Srinivasa Farms under its CSR initiatives has joined hands with the AP government in its “Swarnandhra Vision 2029”
An important goal of their CSR program has been to reach government programs to those who can benefit from them. In line with this goal they have taken on implementing various government-promoted developmental initiatives on their company premises, in their farms, and particularly in their ancestral village, Kulla in Ramchandrapuram, East Godavari District.
To this end, they have set clear goals for the holistic development of Kulla village and become a proactive partner in the GoAP’s ‘Smart Ward Smart Village’ initiative.
They have adopted a mission-based approach to create the appropriate social and economic infrastructure, to create awareness, seeking the participation of the stakeholders. The ‘Smart Ward Smart Village’ encourages a holistic view of the village instead of being focused on the programme and departmental objectives only. It encompasses sustainable and inclusive development of all sections of its community, so they enjoy a high standard of living.
The objectives include Homes for all – with access to toilets, safe drinking water, and regular power. To create diversified livelihood opportunities and/or micro-enterprise for every household and access to youths for skills development and village enterprise and simultaneously protecting local traditions and heritage of the village. Giving back to the roots strengthens the tree and this enterprise of Srinivasa farms for their ancestral village should be applauded by one and all.
