The chief guest on this occasion was Dr. Inderjeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor of GADVASU. He praised the college for commemorating World Milk Day by involving students in the preparation and sale of high-quality milk products. He believes that adding value to milk is the best way to maximize profits. This initiative will instill entrepreneurial skills in students.

Dr. Ramneek, Dean of CODST, stated that the college is committed to producing trained dairy graduates and postgraduates and that the college’s Experimental Dairy Plant (EDP) is committed to supplying fresh and quality milk and milk products to consumers.

The festival’s main draw was newly launched dairy-based food products such as goat cheese, ricotta cheese spread, natural vanilla ice cream, and muskmelon ice cream, as well as other milk products such as whey drinks, sweet and masala Lassi, hazelnut cold coffee, and so on. These products were created by college students using milk from the GADVASU Dairy Farm. A poster-making competition was also held, with approximately 15 students participating.
